New Bei-Route : When I think of mobility in Beirut the first thing I can imagine is the chaotic streets hindered by lack of traffic rules, and lack of well-structured public transportation .The people’s physical movements through the streets are slowed down by all sorts of barriers and distractions. Hence, one can’t stop to admire the life around the space, the old Lebanese house around the corner, the backgammon players on the sidewalk .Many plans and solutions for a better urban vision for the city were studied but unfortunately none of them were implemented.
